The CRC crew took the 59th Mt. Washington Road Race in Gorham, New Hampshire by storm last Saturday. The race, which has an average grade of 12.5%, a max vertical grade of 22%, and an elevation gain of 4,650 feet has the distinction of such tag lines as, “Because it’s there, and you’re a runner”
Both a new race to CRC and the USATF Race Series, the Run Westfield Flat Fast 5K proved popular and… fast! The race didn’t kick off till 1 PM meaning no waking up at the crack of dawn and the course was a point-to-point, downhill course. The weather cooperated (if maybe a bit too dry)
CRC was well represented among the crowd of locals at Frank Nealon last week. Our women’s and men’s teams rallied through the hilly course to a strong finish of 7th and 8th place respectively. Tradition continued as CRC took to the streets of New Bedford on St. Patrick’s Day to race one of New England’s most competitive running events. Once again CRC brought a large team and a lot of energy to Super Sunday. Between the 5 miler and the 5K, CRC fielded 64 runners (58 and 6 respectively) earning the club the distinction of largest team. Beating out November Project for the honor, CRC was awarded a party bus for the duration of
