Joe English Trail Challenge Race Report
2018 CRC Race Series #4
May 6, 2018
Light rain, temperature in the upper 50s

We had a small but mighty crew compete at the Joe English Trail Challenge last weekend in Amherst, NH. CRC took to the trails in the 5k, 12.5k and the 25k. The weather was in the upper 50s with some intermittent rain showers, which made for slightly muddy conditions. However, the course was no obstacle for CRC! Some race highlights include:

  • Chris Gerry won the 5k, finishing comfortably over a minute ahead of the second-place finisher.
  • Matt Pennock took first overall in the 12.5k with a speedy time of1:01:33.
  • Marco Gysel was fifth overall (second place in his age group) in the 12.5k.
  • Jason Stewart and David Sandham also had outstanding performances in the 12.5k.
  • Caitlin Pohl was third overall in the 25k (second female overall).

Check out the full results at the links below, and congrats to everyone who stepped up to the challenge!
