Assault on Mt. Race Report 2017
Melrose, MA
CRC Race Series
December 9, 2017
Weather: Snowy, 35°F
CRC wrapped up the 2017 race series with a strong showing in Melrose last Saturday. The course was hilly and challenging; especially since the promised snowstorm held off until one hour before the start and continued until every runner had finished. It was like running in a winter wonderland snow globe.

Despite the promise of snow, CRC showed up with a total of 40 runners to make up a “lucky 13” number of teams. As in years past, CRC swept the awards ceremony with a total of 16 nutcrackers that I know will be proudly displayed over the fireplace.
After the hilly, snowy, and slippery run we all enjoyed the buffet style pasta dinner and a few libations.
