Amherst 10 Miler Race Report
2017 CRC Race Series #2
February 27th, 2017
Windy, partly cloudy, temperature in the high 30s
CRC made a strong showing at the 42nd annual running of this classic New England Road Race. The Amherst 10 Miler was an extremely hilly course complemented by dirt road stretches, scenic countryside views, and the world’s second tallest library. Despite the brutal hills and muddy country roads, CRC managed some very impressive times as well as a few PRs! This race kicked off the 2017 USATF New England Grand Prix Series and definitely got a lot of us excited for a terrific year of running.
After the race, we headed to Downtown Amherst for some post race burgers at High Horse, followed by world class donuts at “Glazed”.
Congrats to all who ran! The next race in our 2017 series is the New Bedford Half Marathon on March 19th. New Bedford is also a USATF Grand Prix race this year and only 20 days away! See you all there!

P.S. Congrats to everyone who ran the Hyannis Half and Full yesterday!
