COVID-19 Policy

MAY 21 2022

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) raised the COVID-19 Community Level for all of Middlesex County to HIGH on May 5, 2022.  The following policies apply to all CRC events effective March 19, 2022:

    • Vaccinations:  Members must be fully vaccinated to attend indoor CRC events. This includes events hosted by outside venues and those hosted by CRC members.  CRC highly recommends all members stay up to date with vaccinations.
    • Masks:  Although mask orders are no longer in effect, CRC supports the following guidelines in accordance with the Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD):
      • We support members who choose to wear masks (e.g., in indoor settings and when CRC members are traveling with one another via public transportation or personal vehicle).
      • Masks are required at hosted events inside members’ residences only when explicitly noted by the host (verbally or in writing).
      • When attending events at outside venues, masks are required in accordance with the stated policies of the host venue.
      • Unsure about the venue or if you’ll need access to facilities along a running route?  It’s a good idea to always have a mask handy in case you need it.
  • Positive Cases:  CRC as an organization does NOT have the capacity for extensive contact tracing. However, in accordance with the CDC contact tracing guidelines, we ask that CRC members report confirmed cases of COVID-19 under the following circumstances:
      • You tested positive for COVID-19, and
      • Starting 2 days before your symptoms began (or two days before you test if you do not have symptoms), you attended a CRC event, and
      • The event, or part of the event, was held indoors (if it was an outdoor-only event, reporting is optional).
      • If all of the above apply, please complete a CRC COVID-19 Report.
  • Please note, we do not track individual attendance at Thursday track practices, and rely on members to self-report contacts.
  • Any stricter local, state, or federal guidelines will supersede the above, as applicable.

Our main priority is to keep CRC members safe, informed, and running.  We encourage everyone to keep up to date on COVID-related information, available from the CDC and your local municipalities.

Thank you for your support.
