Wicked Frosty 4-miler
Salem, MA

Four slightly hungover CRCers started off the New Year with a four miler in Salem. The weather was chilly, but there was little wind. The course was wet but for the most part not slippery. One quarter mile section was covered with snow however.

Becky took 2nd overall. Justin took 2nd in his age group. Some highlights:

James ran the whole race with chewing tobacco.

Liz Walker and her high school friends ran with a lot of New Year's spirit.

After running to exhaustion, we all enjoyed an amazing post-race spread of sparkling cider, homemade chili and soups, and of course Chik-fil-A sandwiches (of which Justin had three).
