CRC goes international (again)

I proudly sported the CRC singlet at my hometown's Sant Silvestre race, which was held on the evening of Dec 31st. The race follows a flat and fast course on sections of pavement and cobblestone with some sections of mild slope (2-3%). The distance is short and not too hard, which encouraged many locals to sign up. 356 athletes started the race, and the weather was just about perfect for racing, although it started pouring after we finished, which prompted most people to take off right away. An athlete from a local club led until the 4km mark, and I had just enough left in the tank to take over the last half mile.
