Applefest Half Marathon and Relay
Hollis, NH

Congratulations to everyone who came up to Hollis, NH for the 27th Annual Applefest Half Marathon & Relay on Saturday. This was truly a beautiful yet challenging course, and the post face food made it well worth the trip.

Chad and Kaitlin (aka HOT CROSS BUNS) won the relay portion with a time of 1:14, and brought home some cash along with a mile-high apple pie and a basket of local Hollis apples.

Joe Cattell was the first CRC-er in the half marathon with a speedy time of 1:33 and Ashley Carter (running in place of Zena Urban) came bounding in at 1:48.

Kristina Buenafe finished with an excellent time of 2:05 despite fighting off a nasty cold - talk about true dedication!

The post race spread included homemade apple crisp, apple baked goods, and apple cider.
Thanks to Ethan Danahy for coming up to cheer, and providing the post-race swedish fish.
