Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon and Five Miler

Congrats to the runners who came out Sunday for the 5 miler and the (sort of) half marathon!... Uhm, let's just say, there are a couple areas for improvement. Timing was slightly off between the 5 mile group and the half marathoners. - Apparently race organizers hadn't realized how close the overlap would be when the two groups converged back on the same route, so the police escort for the leaders of the half were trampling the back end of the 5 mile runners. Also, the half, well, just wasn't. (Per coolrunning.com, "Runners were led off course in error." Oops.)
But let's not dwell.... Katie Turck made a fabulous return to the racing world post-Boston, while Lisetta and Kristina K finished their first half marathons. Johnny was easily visable for the CRC cheering pack in his trademark shorts, and Jen Baima impressed as she passed at least 5 runners on the Comm & Arlington turn. Ting and Geoff were out for the race (anyone surprised?), and both gave head nods and waves to their CRC fans as they approached the final miles.
