A small group of CRC runners managed to get into the highly popular 36th Falmouth Road Race and ran the historic 7 mile race along with a large group of invited elite athletes. The organizers used their experience by putting on a well thought-out race on a sunny, warm and somewhat humid day.

Kaitlin Anelauskas ran in the elite women's group and finished as the 37th woman and 160th overall. Ted Occhialino made a strong return from recent injury while Amy Occhialino improved her 2007 race time by nearly 2 minutes. Erin Kimbrel also managed to shave over 3 minutes off her 2006 performance. Ting Chen and Geoff Philbrick ran for the first time this year although Ting was hampered by the weather and Geoff by the several waves of runners in front of him.
