Fast Times at the Rhody 5k this past Sunday...

The third race in the USATF Grand Prix series took us to the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI. The course, which looped around the Casino parking lot and then came to closure with a 100 meter sprint onto a dog track, was relatively flat and setup well for some fast times. Results were pretty strong all around. Hank once again claimed some prize money as he battled with a competitive group of Master's Runners. Bernat, Pat and Meredith turned in PRs with terrific races. And Justin ran fast enough to make it back to Boston in time for a Motorcycle lesson.

Thanks to Detective Cody, who arrived early to scout out the course for us and along with Chad Carr were cheering us to the finish line. The grand prix series takes a brief break now and resumes Tuesday July 29th in what usually turns out one of the hottest races of summer, the Yankee Homecoming 10-miler.
